Yazmine Jones was named to the Athletic Training Staff in July 2023.

Jones received her Bachelor of Science degree in Human Nutrition, Foods and Exercise from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University in 2021. She then attended graduate school at the University of Lynchburg earning a Master of Science in Athletic Training in 2023. While at LYN, Jones worked primarily with the men's lacrosse team and distance runners. 

Jones has experience working at Sweet Briar College and Virginia Military Institute. She has worked with various different sports at each institution, including working with the Cadets at VMI for rehabilitation and additional treatments. Jones also has experience at the high school level at Nelson County High School in Lovingston, Virginia. She has also worked at The Surgery Center, Free Clinic of Central Virginia and ChiroMed Health Center in the Lynchburg area.
