Victoria Wilson was named Assistant Director of Athletics at Randolph-Macon College in August 2023. Wilson manages the internal operations of the Yellow Jackets’ athletics department. Her duties include overseeing all athletic budgets, processing all business-related paperwork, administering all athletic facility calendars for both internal staff and external clientele, developing game contracts with non-conference opponents competing on campus and serving as the main point of contact for departmental vehicle requests as well as team transportation needs. Furthermore, she supervises parking logistics and locker room assignments for visiting teams and officials traveling to campus, serves as a sport administrator for home athletic contests throughout the academic year, handles all ticketing operations for home events and works as the athletics liaison for Physical Plant, Dining Services, and Residence Life at Randolph-Macon. She tracks athletic team rosters, distributes grade reports, and maintains the HIVE Care Areas for each sport program. She is the event lead for the Champions Awards Ceremony, an annual student-athlete banquet that recognizes outstanding achievements, as well as the student organization advisor for the Green Bandanas, a student-led program that is dedicated to suicide prevention. Wilson, too, handles the annual submission of both the EADA and the NCAA Sports Sponsorship and Demographics reports.

Wilson played an integral role in NCAA postseason preparations in her first year, serving as the tournament director for all nine NCAA postseason events hosted on campus in 2023-2024. The RMC Football, Men’s Basketball, Baseball and Softball programs all advanced to the NCAA Tournament with three of those four teams being selected as a host-site for postseason play.

In her second year, the Yellow Jackets saw seven different teams advance to NCAA Tournament. Randolph-Macon was selected as a host-site for three of those, where Wilson, again, served as the Tournament Director. Those home events included Football and a win over #17 Washington and Jefferson in the NCAA Second Round, Women’s Basketball and wins over Piedmont and #20 Elizabethtown in the first round, and Baseball Regionals, an series RMC hosted for the first time in school history.

Prior to arriving at Randolph-Macon, Wilson served as the Assistant Director of Athletic Facilities and Events at James Madison University. In that role, she enforced health, fire safety and other facility regulations, performed crowd control, ensured safety of patrons and game personnel and provided oversight of planning logistics and site preparedness for home athletic contests, serving as the game manager for women’s soccer, field hockey, women’s basketball, and women’s lacrosse. She led the campus-wide football parking operations to include the ticket and tow process and the staffing models for all lots. She also supervised the Building Manager Program at JMU, providing direct oversight of approximately 25 part-time employees. In 2023 and upon selection, Wilson served as the tournament director for the 1st and 2nd rounds of 2023 NCAA Women’s Lacrosse Championship.

Wilson worked at Conference Carolinas as a Conference Officer in 2021, managing SAAC initiatives, the conference awards program, and community engagement activities. In 2019, 2020, and 2021, Wilson was an Athletic Administration Intern for her alma mater, Bridgewater College. In the Spring of 2019, Wilson worked as a Championships Intern for the Old Dominion Athletic Conference.

She is member of Women Leaders in Sport, serving a previous term as a Circle Lead for the Facilities and Events engagement group. Throughout her career, Wilson has attended the NACDA Convention, NCAA Convention, Women Leaders Institute for Advancement, the NCAA Emerging Leaders Seminar, the NCAA Career in Sports Forum, and NCAA Regional Rules. She was appointed a member of the NCAA DIII Women’s Basketball Committee in April of 2025.

She received her Bachelor's Degree in Health and Exercise Science and a minor in Nutrition and Wellness, concentrating in Gerontology and Social Sciences for Health Professionals while there.
