Sami Davidson

Sami Davidson completed her first season as assistant coach of the Randolph-Macon Yellow Jackets in 2025, making a significant impact on the program. Davidson, a 2022 graduate of Randolph-Macon College with a Bachelor’s degree in History and minors in Art History and Studio Art, brings both academic dedication and athletic excellence to her coaching and instructional roles.

Since graduating, Davidson has continued her involvement in the game as an instructor at Richmond Baseball Academy-West (since 2023) and as a head coach with the Hanover Hornets organization for three seasons. Known for her deep knowledge of the game, leadership, and passion for player development, Davidson is committed to fostering the next generation of talent in softball.

A standout softball player during her collegiate career, Davidson played a key role in Randolph-Macon’s success, earning multiple honors including:
  • NFCA All-Atlantic Region First Team (2018)
  • All-State First Team (2018)
  • All-ODAC First Team (2018)
  • All-ODAC Third Team (2019)
  • All-State Second Team (2020)
Her on-field achievements also include helping lead her team to several major tournament victories and postseason appearances:
