Head Women's Golf Coach Bryan Hearn completed his fourth season at the helm of the Yellow Jackets in 2024-25.

Over the past three seasons, Hearn has led RMC to one National Championship appearance and has coached 3 All-Americans, 2 All-Region players, 3 ODAC Rookie of the Years, 6 All-ODAC players, and 3 Academic All-Americans. He also had one player named the Kim Moore Spirit Award recipient by WGCA.

The Yellow Jackets completed another historic season in 2024-25. Hearn led RMC to a national ranking of #12, the highest in program history and received the program's first at-large bid to the 2025 NCAA National Championships at Kingsmill Resort in Williamsburg, Virginia. The team finished 20th in the tournament, but sophomore Morgan Mussatt made the cut as an individual and placed ninth individually, shooting six-over par for the tournament. In the regular season, RMC earned their first win under Hearn, leading the field by 30 strokes in the Chick-fil-A Invitational in Rome, Georgia. Following the regular season, freshman Lilly Hall was named ODAC Golfer of the Year and ODAC Rookie of the Year, becoming just the second golfer in ODAC history to receive both awards. She was also named an All-American by WGCA following the season.

The 2023-24 season was a historic one for RMC Women's Golf, climbing 71 spots over the course of the season. Before the first tournament of the season, RMC was ranked 119th in the Golfstat rankings and finished 48th in the country. Freshman Morgan Mussatt was named ODAC Rookie of the Year and All-ODAC First Team. She was later tabbed an All-American by WGCA.

In 2022-23, Hearn coached the Yellow Jackets to a fourth place finish in the ODAC Championships and had the ODAC Rookie of the Year in Elli Flinchum.

From 2016-19, Hearn was head men’s and women’s golf coach at Centre College in Danville, Ky. The Colonels were nationally-ranked on both sides, with the men at No. 23 and the women at No. 17. Hearn mentored eight all-conference golfers and a pair of All-Americans. Five of his players were Academic All-Americans. Hearn had seven individual medalists on the women’s team and three on the men’s team.

“I would like to thank President Lindgren, Provost Rosenthal and Director of Athletics Jeff Burns for the opportunity to lead the women’s golf program into a new era,” Hearn said. “I feel that Randolph-Macon College has the tools and dedication to chase excellence and land at the top of both the conference and national levels on and off the golf course.”

Hearn was head men’s golf coach at Virginia Wesleyan University from 2012-16. He saw the Marlins’ Golfstat ranking rise from No. 198 to No. 32 in four years. He coached six individual medalists, including 2016 NCAA Division III Individual National Champion Evan Cox. Hearn had seven all-conference performers. The Marlins received the Community Service Award for 2013-14.

While in the Tidewater area, Hearn was an assistant golf professional at Elizabeth Manor Golf and Country Club in Portsmouth, Va., as well as a demo/fitting specialist for TaylorMade/Adidas Golf in Virginia Beach.

Hearn earned a Bachelor of Arts in Studio Art with a minor in Sports Management from Old Dominion University in 2010.
