R-MC Women’s Soccer Rises to No. 20 in National Poll

ASHLAND, Va. – The Randolph-Macon women's soccer team has climbed two spots to No. 20 in the D3soccer.com Women's Top 25.

The Yellow Jackets debuted in last week's poll at No. 22.

R-MC posted a 2-0 ODAC victory on Saturday to improve to 10-0-0 overall and 2-0-0 in conference contests.

The Yellow Jackets are one of two teams from the ODAC in this week's poll. Washington and Lee checks in at No. 16.

R-MC is now fifth in the South Atlantic Region poll by United Soccer Coaches.

1 Christopher Newport (10-0-2); 2 TCNJ (10-1-0); 3 Centre (13-0-0); 4 Washington and Lee (9-0-1); 5 Randolph-Macon (10-0-0); 6 Emory (6-3-0); 7 Roanoke (8-2-1); 8 Lynchburg (5-3-1); 9 Virginia Wesleyan (6-2-2); 10 Stockton (10-1-1).

Randolph-Macon travels to Virginia Wesleyan for an ODAC match on Wednesday, Oct. 9 at 7 p.m.
