As a Sophomore - 2017:

• Earned first win at Christopher Newort, going 2.1 innings in relief with 2 hits, 1 run, 2 strikeouts
• Tossed shutout at home in second start, allowing 7 hits and 1 walk in 9 innings with season-high 10 strikeouts
• Allowed 2 hits, 1 walk, 1 run, 5 strikeouts in 9 innings vs. nationally-ranked Shenandoah

Personal: Roth transfered from St. Joseph's University where he played baseball... Roth attended Benedictine High School where he lettered three years in baseball... He was named to the 2nd Team All-State as a junior and 1st Team All-State his senior year.
