2016-17 Women's Swimming and Diving
Biography
As a senior (2016-17): Chatnik swam in the 100, 200 Breast, and the 200 and 400 IM for the Yellow Jackets... She finished eighth in the 200 Breast and eighth in the 400 IM at the ODAC Championships.
As a junior (2015-16): Chatnik swam in the 50, 100 and 500 Free, the 100 and 200 Breast and the 200 and 400 IM for the Yellow Jackets... Swam her best 200 Breast stroke of the year at the 2016 ODAC Championships with a time of 2:39.65... Chatnik swam a 2:21.55 200 IM at the ODAC Championship, her best time of the season.
As a sophomore (2014-15): In Chatnik’s second season with R-MC she swam the 1000 Free, 100 and 200 Breaststroke, and the 400 IM…Leah finished the season fourteenth in the ODAC for the 200 Breaststroke (2:43.12) and the 400 IM (5:12.18).
As a freshman (2013-14): In her rookie season with the Yellow Jackets, Chatnik competed in the 200 medley relay, the 200 and 400 free relay, the 100, 200, and 500 free, and the 200 breaststroke… Leah placed third in the 200 Free against Marymount (2:15.50).
Personal: Leah attended Guilderland High School where she lettered all four years in swimming...She is persuing a degree in communication studies.
