Elicia Wells'20

  • Title
    Assistant Women's Lacrosse Coach

Randolph-Macon women's lacrosse head coach MK Geratowski has announced that Elicia Wells ’20 will rejoin the team as an assistant coach.  Wells’ primary role will be working with the Yellow Jacket goalkeepers, but she will assist in all aspects of the program.

Wells returns to the Yellow Jackets after spending two years at Youngstown State, first as a graduate player completing her eligibility and then as a graduate assistant coach with the Penguins.  She was a part of the inaugural season for YSU and was the sole captain for the 2021 season.

Wells was a three-year starter for the Yellow Jackets after transferring in as a sophomore.  She made 379 saves finishing her career with a 0.488 career save percentage.  In 2018, she was selected as both All-ODAC and VaSID All-State 1st team as well as being selected to the ODAC All-Academic Team.  In 2019, she was again selected All-ODAC 1st team as well as ODAC All-Tournament team, VaSID All-State 2nd team, and IWLCA Chesapeake All-Region 2nd team.  Wells was a team captain in both her junior and senior seasons at R-MC.

"We could not be more thrilled to have E back with the program,” Geratowski said.  “She was a fantastic player and even better leader, so we are excited to see what she can bring to the program from the sideline now.”

Wells graduated with a bachelor's degree in Psychology and Sociology from R-MC in 2020.  She then earned her master’s in social work from YSU in 2022.
