As a Sophomore: Christine started all 38 gamesfor the Yellow Jackets, leading the team with a .484 battingaverage which was also good for second in the ODAC.  Simonalso set a program record for hits in a season with 59.  Shefinished second in the ODAC in walks and on-base percentage. In 20 conference games, Simon batted .530 with 15 runs and 10RBIs.  She was voted First Team All-Region, First TeamAll-ODAC, and was named to the All tournament team.  Christinehad a season high 4 hits in the first game against Methodist (3/27)and a season high 4 RBIs in a game agaisnt Franklin and Marshall(3/2).

Personal: Christine attended James River HighSchool where she earned a varsity letter in volleyball, two inbasketball and four in softball … She helped lead hersoftball team to a USSSA State Tournament and USSSA World SeriesChampionship title is 2008 … She was awarded the USSSA WorldSeries All-Tournament Team in 2008, First Team All-District twice(2011,2012), and All Region Honorable Mention in 2012 …Christine also earned All-Academic Honors in 2011 and 2012 …She intends to pursue a degree in Accounting.
