Caitlin Kriesel-Bigler

Caitlin Kriesel-Bigler had joined the Randolph-Macon women’s basketball program as an assistant coach for the 2022-23 academic year.

This past season, Kriesel-Bigler was an assistant coach at Winthrop University. 83% of the wins for the Eagles came at home and 67% of the victories were conference contests.

Before arriving in Rock Hill, S.C., Kriesel-Bigler spent two seasons as an assistant coach at Millsaps College in Mississippi. She helped the Majors earn 25 wins, including a 12-2 mark during the pandemic-shortened 2020-21 season.

Kriesel-Bigler also served as an assistant coach at Thomas College in Maine and worked with the LSU women’s basketball program.

A four-time all-conference selection at Hendrix College in Arkansas, Kriesel-Bigler scored 1,397 points during her collegiate career, the fifth-highest total in program history. She started 103 of 104 games and averaged more than 31 minutes per game each season. Kriesel-Bigler averaged scoring in double figures each season and her total of 445 assists is second in program history. She was All-America Honorable Mention by the WBCA during her senior season of 2015-16. Kriesel-Bigler earned a bachelor’s degree in Psychology in 2016 and received a master’s degree in Pedagogy and Psychological Science from LSU in 2019.
