Han Tops R-MC Women’s Golf at Greene Turtle Invitational

FRONT ROYAL, Va. – Freshman Chae Han (Glen Allen, Va./Glen Allen) tied for 12th out of 40 individuals for the Randolph-Macon women's golf team on Saturday at the Greene Turtle Invitational at the Shenandoah Valley Golf Club.

The Yellow Jackets finished sixth out of seven team in the two-round event.

Han shot 92 in the first round and improved by nine strokes in Round 2 with an 83 for a total of 175.

Senior Colleen Connolly (Winchester, Va./John Handley) tied for 15t at 179 (91-88), followed by freshman Emily Villacruses (Bridgewater, Va./Turner Ashby) at 192 (95-97), freshman Madeline Brahler (Stafford, Va./Colonial Forge) at 193 (96-97) and junior Elizabeth Magee (Richmond, Va./St. Catherine's) at 205 (102-103).

Randolph-Macon concludes the fall portion of its schedule on Oct. 19-20 at the 2019 VSGA Women's Intercollegiate at the James River Country Club in Newport News, Va.
