FOREST, Va. – Randolph-Macon senior Liza Lewis (Richmond, Va./Trinity) was named the Old Dominion Athletic Conference women's Golfer of the Week, the conference announced Monday afternoon. Lewis helped lead Randolph-Macon to a third place team finish at the Green Turtle Invitational over this past weekend.
Lewis shot a 77 on Saturday and a 75 on Sunday, totaling 152 and tying for second out of all individuals in the Invitational. She was the top ODAC golfer at the Green Turtle, finishing ahead of all of her conference rivals from Eastern Mennonite, Ferrum, Shenandoah, Sweet Briar and Virginia Wesleyan
This is Lewis' second Golfer of the Week honor. She earned the honor last season when she earned the individual medalist honor at the Revolutionary Collegiate Classic in Elkton, Md.
