As a junior (2017): Posted a 1-15 record in singles action and an 0-1 doubles record with partner Stuart McCroskey.

As a sophomore (2016): Carter posted a 12-3 record in singles playing the majority of the season at the number four role for the Yellow Jackets... In doubles he played in the number one spot with Joh Adam and posted a record of 11-6... Baxter and Adams defeated the #32 ranked Washington & Lee pairing of Michael Holt and Perry Clement 9-8 in ODAC play.

As a freshman (2015): Baxter Carter worked his way into the lineup as the only freshman on the team posting a singles record of 1-1…In doubles play, he recorded a record of 4-3...Baxter was named to the ODAC All-Academic Team for his accomplishments in the classroom.

Personal: Attended Steward School then St. Christopher's and earned a total of 4 varsity letters in tennis and 1 in soccer...At the Steward School, Carter led his team to a state final appearance and was named a First Team All-State Division II performer as a freshman and sophomore...At St. Christopher's, Carter helped the Saints to a Prep League Championship in tennis and a state final appearance in soccer...To win that Prep League title, Carter and his doubles partner saved four championship points to come back and clinch the title for the Saints in a tournament-deciding match...He was the captain of the tennis team his senior season and was named First Team All-Prep League at #2 doubles his junior and senior seasons. 

Off the court, Carter maintained a 4.0 GPA or higher throughout all of high school and received a Chicago Book Award for academic excellence...He was also the co-head of charity club RAMPS (Ramp Access Made Possible by Students).
