FOREST, Va. – Randolph-Macon sophomore forward Penny Senior (Kingston, Jamaica / Meadowbrook) of the men's soccer team won his first ODAC Player of the Week award this week following two wins, the first coming at #15 Eastern and the second coming at Cabrini in which Senior scored the winning goal. His brace against Cabrini were his first career goals.
The men's soccer team picked up two huge wins this week to continue its hot start to the season and Senior played a huge part, especially in the 3-2 win over Cabrini. Senior scored his first two collegiate goals including the winner in the 89th minute to seal the win.
On the week, Senior recorded eight shots with two coming on target in the game against Cabrini. He also exhibited excellent hold-up play, linked up with the wings well, and had a strong aerial presence.
This marks Senior's first ODAC player of the week award in his career.
Randolph-Macon returns to the pitch on Wednesday, Sept. 11 with a 4 p.m. match at Catholic.
