LEXINGTON, Ky. – After debuting in The American Volleyball Coaches Association Preseason Poll for the second time in program history, RMC is listed as receiving votes in the third consecutive poll.
 
The Lemon and Black hosted the Macon Invitational the final weekend in January, going 4-0 across two days of play. On Friday, January 30, the Yellow Jackets defeated Marymount 3-1, followed by a 3-0 victory against Shenandoah. RMC resumed play on Sunday, January 31, in which the host swept both Regent and Gallaudet, finishing 12-1 in sets, including a conference win throughout the weekend.
 
Extending back to the 2025 season, the Yellow Jackets have won 13 of their last 15 regular season matches, including wins in each of their last five overall. Furthermore, the 2026 Yellow Jackets joined the 2022 team as the only RMC Men's Volleyball teams in program history to win seven of its first eight matches of a season.
 
This weekend, the Lemon and Black are participating in the Stevenson Tournament in Owings Mills, Md., in which they will face Mount Union on Friday, February 13 at 4:00 p.m., before continuing play at 6:00 p.m. against Nichols. RMC concludes its play in the tournament on Saturday, February 14, as it will take on Lancaster Bible at 11:00 a.m. in Lancaster, Pa.
