Clark and Quinn Named to VaSID All-State Teams

DANVILLE, Va – Sophomore volleyball player Mariah Clark (Stuarts Draft, Va./ Riverheads) and junior Erin Quinn (Morrisville, N.C./ Cardinal Gibbons) were both named to the VaSID Women's Volleyball All-State Team. Clark was named to the All-State First Team, while Quinn was voted to the Second Team. The VaSID All-State awards are nominated and voted by Sports Information Directors in Virginia.

The R-MC volleyball team finished another terrific season, winning the regular season and ODAC Championship. The Yellow Jackets advanced to the second round of the NCAA Tournament, finishing the season 24-8.

Clark led the team in kills, tallying 390. She also contributed defensively, recording 270 digs and 65 total blocks. Clark was named to the All-ODAC First Team, AVCA South Region First Team and named an AVCA Honorable Mention All-American.

Quinn led the ODAC in assists, registering 1,222 for the season. She was named the ODAC Player of the Year, while also being named to the First Team All-ODAC, AVCA South Region First Team and AVCA Third Team All-America. Quinn led the team with 42 service aces and racked up 347 digs over the course of the season.
