YORK, Pa. - Freshman Grace Landolt (Roanoke, Va./Hidden Valley) recorded a pair of firsts as the Randolph-Macon women's swimming team fell 148-106 at York on Saturday afternoon.
Landolt won the 100 Fly in 1:01.37. She earned first-place points in the 200 IM with the second-best time of 2:23.41. Landolt was second in the 100 Breast in 1:13.40. She was also second in the 200 Breast in 2:40.79. Landolt joined sophomore Kacey Pool (Chesapeake, Va./Western Branch), freshman Natalia Perdomo (Stafford, Va.) and senior Megan Granger (Midlothian, Va./Manchester) to take second in the 200 Medley Relay in 1:56.82.
Junior Kata Kylliainen won the 1000 Free in 11:14.13. She took third in the 100 Back in 1:04.54. Kylliainen was fourth in the 100 Free in 58.47. She teamed with Granger, freshman Carolina Pifer (Lutherville, Md./Notre Dame Prep) and Pool to take first in the 200 Free Relay with the second-best time of 1:47.19.
Pool placed second in the 200 Back in 2:18.89.
Sophomore Lauren McCoy (Dagsboro, Del./Indian River) took second in the 100 Back in 1:03.82.
Sophomore Abbey Crank (North Chesterfield, Va./James River) finished third in the 200 Breast in 2:43.06.
Randolph-Macon returns to the pool on Saturday, Jan. 20 at 1 p.m. for a home meet against Catholic. It will be Senior Day for the Yellow Jackets.
