Lightfoot Lauded as ODAC Player of the Week for Women's Lacrosse

FOREST, Va. - Randolph-Macon junior Alex Lightfoot (Fairfax, Va./WT Woodson) has been selected as the ODAC Player of the Week for women's lacrosse after the Yellow Jackets posted a pair of victories this past week.

Lightfoot had 13 assists, a pair of goals and 15 points in the two contests.

In an 11-7 home win over No. 19 St. Mary's at Day Field on Wednesday, Lightfoot delivered seven assists. In Saturday's 14-1 victory at Goucher, Lightfoot dished out six assists to go with two goals for eight points

For the season, Lightfoot is first in the ODAC and fifth in the nation with 4.25 assists per game. She tops the conference and is sixth in the country in total assists with 17.

Randolph-Macon (3-1) is scheduled to host Christopher Newport on Wednesday, March 15 at 7 p.m. at Day Field.
