GRAND LAKE, Colo. - The Randolph-Macon women's lacrosse program has been recognized as an IWLCA Zag Sports Academic Honor Squad for the 2016-17 academic year by the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association.
To earn this honor, the team must have a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher for the academic year.
R-MC was one of eight schools from the ODAC to be recognized and one of 10 programs from the state of Virginia.

The Yellow Jackets also had three individuals earn spots on the 2017 IWLCA Zag Sports Division III Academic Honor Roll:
Lucy Andrews, Jr., Chemistry
Jamie Langbein, Sr., Environmental Studies
Kristin Patrick, Sr., Biology
Student-athletes eligible for the honor roll must be a junior, senior or graduate student and have earned a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or higher. There were 535 student-athletes from 160 programs honored this year.
Patrick was earlier named the NCAA Division III Scholar-Athlete of the Year by the IWLCA.
