ASHLAND, Va. – With what was a sun-splashed Saturday before clouds sneaked into Central Virginia, the Randolph-Macon Men's and Women's tennis program closed out its fall season with a successful fundraiser. This year marked the third edition of the event.

Thirty alumni, former players and friends of the program came out to play in a round-robin doubles style tournament. With one of the goals of the Banks Tennis Complex being neighborhood inclusiveness, the fundraiser allowed the tennis program to reach out to some of those individuals.

"It was wonderful to see so many faces out at the Banks Courts this past weekend," head tennis coach Charles Gray said. "We look forward to seeing many of them in the future."

All proceeds from this weekend's event will directly benefit the tennis programs.

The tennis teams now look ahead to the spring schedule. Both teams are currently slated to open their schedule at St. Mary's (Md.) on Sunday, February 25 at a time to be determined later.
