Seventeen Yellow Jacket Swimmers Earn All-ODAC Honors

FOREST, Va. - The Randolph-Macon swimming program had 17 student-athletes earn All-ODAC honors, as released by the conference office.

Both Yellow Jacket squads finished second in the 2018 ODAC Championships this past weekend in Greensboro, N.C. The R-MC men were second out of 10 teams and the Yellow Jacket women were second out of 12 schools.

R-MC had nine women and eight men recognized as All-ODAC performers.

All-ODAC First Team honorees included:

Senior Ivan Fadeyev (Manassas, Va./Osbourn Park)

Sophomore Jordan Witherow (Mechanicsville, Va./Lee-Davis)

Freshman Victor Kontopanos (North Chesterfield, Va.)

Junior Kata Kylliainen (Towson, Md./Loch Raven)

Sophomore Kacey Pool (Chesapeake, Va./Western Branch)

Sophomore Laney Sanchez (Midlothian, Va./Clover Hill)

Yellow Jackets on All-ODAC Second Team were:

Senior Ealon Mann (Spartanburg, S.C./Spartanburg)

Senior Alex Daube (Hampton, Va./Hampton)

Freshman Natalia Perdomo (Stafford, Va.)

All-ODAC Third Team selections included:

Junior Lindsei Hamilton (Roanoke, Va./Hidden Valley)

Junior Bryan McCarthy (Chester, Va./Thomas Dale)

Junior Haylie Moore (Lexington, N.C./South Davidson)
