Redenz Sets Second ODAC Record on Final Day of ODAC Swim Championships

GREENSBORO, N.C. - Senior Robert Redenz (Moseley, Va./Cosby) recorded his second ODAC record in as many days for the Randolph-Macon men's swimming team on the final day of the 2017 ODAC Swimming Championships at the Greensboro Aquatic Center.

The Yellow Jackets finished third in the final team standings.

Redenz won the 200 Breast in 2:06.58, an ODAC record. On Day 2 of the Championships, Redenz set an ODAC record in the 100 Breast.

Junior Ivan Fadeyev (Manassas, Va./Osbourn Park) finished first in the 200 Back in 1:53.64, a top time for the Yellow Jackets this season.

Junior Ealon Mann (Spartanburg, S.C./Spartanburg) placed third in the 100 Free in 46.30, a program record.

Redenz, Fadeyev, Mann and freshman Matt Howard (Fredericksburg, Va./James Monroe) teamed to finish second in the 400 Free Relay in 3:12.64.

Freshman Sam Runner (Alexandria, Va./West Potomac) finished fifth in the 1650 Free in 17:22.98, a top time for the Yellow Jackets this season. Sophomore Connor Seif (Trent Woods, N.C./New Bern) was sixth in 17:36.92.

Senior Josh Carter (Mechanicsville, Va./Atlee) was fifth in the 200 Breast in 2:13.46. Junior Alex Daube (Hampton, Va./Hampton) was sixth in 2:19.88.
