Men’s Soccer Finishes The Season Ranked 10th in Regional Poll

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – With the final rankings of 2017 out for Division III Men's Soccer team, Randolph-Macon has completed the season and landed 10th in the South Atlantic Region poll. R-MC fought its way back into the Top 10 after falling out of the poll. The team was ranked highest during week six of the season when it was 8th in the South Atlantic poll.

The South Atlantic region encompasses schools in the Old Dominion Athletic Conference, the USA South Athletic Conference, the New Jersey Athletic Conference, the Southern Athletic Association and the Capital Athletic Conference.

Randolph-Macon recently completed its 2017 campaign, which was one of its most successful in recent history. The team finished 14-3-1 and 6-2-1 in ODAC play. Randolph-Macon was the #4 seed in the ODAC Tournament, getting to host a quarterfinal match against Hampden-Sydney. The Yellow Jackets beat the Tigers 2-1 in a hard fought game before being defeated by Lynchburg 3-2 in a semifinal match.
